- How
do I Take Credit Cards On-line?
There are two things you need in order to take credit
cards on-line. First, you will need a merchant account.
Second you will need some type of "Shopping
Cart" or "E-Commerce" package that
allows you to build and manage a webstore.
Merchant Accounts are issued by card processors on
behalf of merchant banks. There is a misconception
that merchant accounts are difficult to get. This
is because most major banks do not want to offer
merchant accounts directly to their clients for Internet
or telephone sales because they still consider these
high risk.
Actually, if you have a normal credit record, getting
a merchant account is not difficult. Click
Here for more information.
A Shopping Cart or E-Commerce Package is software
specifically designed to allow you to process orders
on line. We offer you a very powerful e-commerce
package with or e-commerce accounts and webstores.
This software allows customers to select items, place
them in shopping baskets, remove the items if they
change their mind, calculate shipping costs and process
the order through your card processor or merchant
bank. For you, the merchant, you can easily manage
your store on our secure server. Add or delete items,
update your prices and download customer orders to
your local computer.

- How
much bandwidth do I need? (how many MB or GB/month
?)
This will vary according to the size of your pages
in kilobytes (KB) and how many people visit your
site. For example, assuming your average webpage
is 50KB in size (50,000 bytes), and if you expect
the average visitor to look at 4 pages of your site,
then you can have 5,000 visitors per month for every
gigabyte of bandwidth. So if you expected 10,000
people to visit this site every month, then you would
need at least 2 GB per month of bandwidth.

- How
much disk space will I need? (how many MBs ?)
This depends on the size of your files (images, pages,
audio, server side scripts) and how many pages you
have. For example, if you build a 20 page website
with an average page size of 50KB, than you will
need at least 1 MB of disk space on our server. If
you are running a database driven website, than the
amount of space you need usually depends on the database
file size and not the number of pages.
